Patrick Swayze died today due to a battle with pancreatic cancer. According to OMG most fans became aware of his illness in March of last year.

Patrick will always be remembered for his role in Dirt Dancing, along with co-star Jennifer Gray, Ghost and many other crowd-pleasing and grammy-winning performances.

Fans are truly saddened by his departure, and he will definitely live on in our hearts and on our televisions.
